Sun Yan Zi is one of the few Singaporean artists to achieve superstardom in the Chinese music market. She is so well regarded in Singapore that she is a role model for other Singaporean artists wishing to crack into the Chinese music market. She is the only major award-winning Chinese artist from Singapore.Stefanie attended St Margaret’s Secondary School and Raffles Girls’ School, and later on majored in marketing at Nanyang Technological University, all in Singapore. Later on in 2000, she debuted under Warner Music Taiwan with an amazingly sucessful self-titled album (Yan Zi).In 2003 she took a year break from the music scene, however returned soon after with the album Stefanie (titled as such to mirror her first album. This was to show that she had returned with the atitude and enthusiasm as a debut artist would.Stefanie owns her own music company, Make Music.
